Often times, clients have come to me with a piece of furniture, a picture, or a unique item that has personal meaning to them that they would like turned into a piece of art. It is important to me to meet with the client to form a connection and get a true feeling for what they want. Only then will I propose a vision for their memento. A metal baby crib turned into a dog bed. A piece of coral from an island trip turned into a wall sculpture. The list of opportunities is endless, limited only by one’s imagination.
These opportunities to work closely with a client, to be creative and, in the end, transform a memento into a more meaningful object is rewarding for all of us involved.
